Thank you! It was definitely a very photogenic tornado, rare for northern Illinois!

I figured you'd be on this one! I saw this one start from my house...but it was moving fast and I figured I'd never catch up. :)) Congrats, Hon! Great job.

Thank you! I actually had to drive 800+ miles overnight to get back home for this... I was west of Wichita the day before, where I saw another tornado (nowhere near as photogenic as this!) I have a few other photos of this one in my gallery, including one where it first touched down near Ashton! What an incredible day for northern Illinois!

very jealous, I just missed the manitoba tornado but would have been a 10 hour drive but I was away working :( not many of these in alberta but at least there are very cool shelf clouds and supercells. I have a few in my gallery if you would like to check them out

Love this shot. I love how you have pushed the land right to the bottom of the frame. It is very effective for this scene! ????

I've never had the blessing of seeing this meteorological occurrence. Sure would like to have been there so shoot this. Kansas is a long drive from Michigan but if I could see this it would be worth it~!
