Location
This photo was taken in one of the most beautiful places in Poland. That means Wo?owno, part of Mazury district. We have there lot of woods, lakes, fields... I do love wild places, where human is only a part of nature, not a nature part of human's living.Time
It was taken in the early summer morning. As I remeber about 5/6 o'clock. I woke up at 4 to go to the place which I saw everyday. As always I didn't want to go out from the warm bed, but I know that after taking my camera, comfortable shoes, morning's walks are something most stunning in our life. You can see views that almost noone has seen. It is calm, noone is around, just you and your thoughts...Lighting
The lightning is completly natural, without any manipulations from my site. I was so lucky to see such amazing view. The fog with sun rise is always worth seeing and capturing.Equipment
I used Minolta Dynax 7D, with lens 18mm on f/9. I didn't use tripod, because I got a lot of light from the sun behind tree.Inspiration
I always love to see new places in different hours of the day. For taking this photo I had to go there few days, to capture perfect fog with such a light. I always admire nature- photographers, and those 4 years ago I've started to try capturing such magical moments by myself.Editing
I didn't do any post-proscceing, not even cropping, because I've tried different angels and places, but this one is still me favourite. In my camera bag
I always do have my Sony a900 camera with two lenses, one is my favourite 50/1.8 for portraits and most of my captures and second is 18-70/3.5 that allows me to see a scene with a wider angel. That is most useful when walking in the streets or woods, where there are lot of elements we want to show.Feedback
I advice you wake up early, drink some juice of coffee, take warm clothes and just go out. More you walk, more you see. Try going to this same place on different days and weather, you will be suprised how different everything may look. oh.... and don't forget your camera! That's your best friends, good luck
