This was taken in the afternoonLighting
It was a bright sunny day with an intense clear blue sky while clouds were moving fast. I was trying to balance myself looking up to get everything in the frame while suddenly I saw that pigeon flying by and I hat to hurry up to shoot. I didn t want to miss it. I shoot another one like this with a small cloud passing by in the center of the image that day.Equipment
At that time I was just using a Nikon Coolpix. While it s not a DSLR it was my first camera and I was pretty happy with it. No other equipment used to shoot this imageInspiration
I was just looking for new interested things and I wanted to try a classic.Editing
I converted it to black and white to focus on the bird silhouette.In my camera bag
Usually I carry an extra battery and an extra lense. Sometimes, especuially at night a tripod.Feedback
You have to take several shots and keep trying. Timing and diferent angles are very important to captivate a great image.
