Behind The Lens

Location

I was bored at home, so I have decided to explore my kitchen.

Time

It was morning

Lighting

I usually try to use natural light so I waited for the best daylight coming in from my kitchen window.

Equipment

I took this photo with my old Nikon D200 with Samyang 14mm F/2.8. The camera was mounted on a Manfrotto tripod.

Inspiration

I was always fascinated by spices and I wanted to take a photo of them. When I saw some black and white cups in the cupboard I decided to take a photo of them filled with different spices.

Editing

Not so much post-processing, I only cut the image a little bit on the top and on one side.

In my camera bag

I have always my Nikon D700 with me and a pair of lenses, the Nikkor 28-70mm f/2.8 AF and the Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 VR

Feedback

Sometimes you can take great photos without going out from your home. So, go and explore your house!!
