Wonderful image! I see that this was a long exposure... How long did you have the shutter open?

Absolutely love the lightning. Takes me back to when I was still using film and you would struggle so much to get a good shot and would throw away half of the prints. Digital age is awesome

Great Shot!
I am guessing at about a minute long exposure.. no "trigger"
What is what appears to be the fire?

Location
I took this photo in my back yard in Delight, Arkansas.Time
About 10:00 P.M.Lighting
The sun had set when this photo was made. I used a hand held flash light to illuminate the foreground.Equipment
I made this photo with a Canon XT camera, with a wide angle zoom lens, mounted on a tripod.Inspiration
I'm always inspired with God's Beautiful Handiwork.Editing
I almost always use a professional photo editing program. In my camera bag
I normally carry a Canon XT, with a 75-300 mm zoom lens. My kit also includes a 28-80 mm lens, two Coken graduated neutral density filters, a shutter release cable, and a extra flash card. For lighting I carry a Speedlite TT560.Feedback
For this shot I mounted my camera on a sturdy tripod. The lens was a Canon 28-80 mm zoom. The ISO was set to 800. The exposure time was about 18 seconds. I used a shutter release cable to eliminate camera shake. The foreground was illuminated with a hand held flash light .
