Great image. As someone who has done the same, I love how you got down to the ground to make the shot!!

Location
This photo was taken in Las Vegas in Red Rock, it was early in the afternoon and it took me about a minute of laying on the street and taking several shots from different angles. This one stood out.Time
I dont remember the time exactly, but it was just early in the afternoon.Lighting
I was dealing with direct sunlight and no clouds. I had to use a fast shutter speed and low aperture to keep everything in focus.Equipment
Hand held Nikon D90 with an 18-105f/3.5-5.6 lensInspiration
I had always wanted to take a photo from this perspective of a road, I just had not had the opportunity. Either not the right road, or not having the camera or having traffic constantly on the roads. So for this one everything came together just fine.Editing
Basically highlights and contrast, a bit of sharpening and some cropping. That is all the post-processing I did.In my camera bag
Now I have a Nikon D600 and Nikon D700, 50mm lens. 24-85 f/2.8-4.0 an Sb700 and an Sb900. At that time I only had a Nikon D90, 50mm, 18-105 f/3.5-5.6 and an Sb900Feedback
Practice and patience. Everything needs to come together and that can take time. When the time come be ready to be quick with your camera settings and always take multiple exposures. :)
