The photo was taken in Kareliya, Russia. My friends and I floated down the river Shuya on a catamaran and stopped for the night at the lake.Time
It was a June evening, but the sun was setting late as approaching midnight sun. While we set up the tents and cooked food, the sun approached the horizon.The sky was overcast and the only dark blue horizon clean strip of sky. My friend Anna set your camera on a tripod near the water in anticipation of a beautiful sunset. I also prepared my camera to take pictures. And our expectations were met!Lighting
When the sun came out from behind the clouds on the horizon, all around fantastic color in orange. Once the Anna's camera became a black silhouette. I managed to make some interesting shots.Equipment
For this shoot I used a camera Pentax K10D and lens Pentax 28-105 without a tripod.Inspiration
I was going to take a photo of a sunset over the lake, but the silhouette of the camera on a background of orange lake seemed more interesting to shoot.Editing
I didn't do special post-processing, only rotate a bit.In my camera bag
