Beautifully done--well composed and very clever. Glad your companion was so cooperative--he really adds to the photo. Congratulations on all your awards!

This is amazing! Do you ever do internships, that people can study photography under you?

@rachel_leduc_ thank you! Unfortunately I do not. Are you in the Bay Area?

Location
I took this photo in Yosemite National Park while staying at "The Big Red Cabin." It is a magical place that is in the middle of nowhere!Time
This was taken around 10:00 pm to make sure there was absolutely no light.Lighting
I used a single Lume Cube for the lighting. Lume Cubes give you control on the amount of light from each Cube. I used the highest setting to achieve the correct amount of light.Equipment
I used a tripod and my trusty T3i from Canon. The lens was a 24mm-70mm sigma. (This is typically my travel equipment)Inspiration
The inspiration for this photo came from the wide open meadow and the absolute feeling of being all alone. There is an amazing feeling of vulnerability when it is absolutely quite and you are one of two people in the dark forrest...Editing
I brightened the colors a bit and that's about it. This image was all about not doing any large amounts of post processing. I feel like the reason for taking a photograph is sometimes lost... We can do anything to our photos on computers now.In my camera bag
I ride a train to work. In my commuter bag I always have my Canon Eos m, 22mm lens and a couple Lume cubes!Feedback
Light is what allows up to take photographs! Use it and constantly experiment with it!
