This image represents my current morose attitude towards the town I have been born in and resided within its walls for the entire 19 years of my life. It is suffocating, draining, and for an artistic, visual soul such as myself - utterly uninspirational.
Although I am tied here for another year and a half to finish my BA Honours degree in Photography, I feel that if I do not escape immediately after that time then I will become stuck in a rut, forced to live here against my will because it is the 'easiest option'.
Overall, this shot displays my feeling of being 'bigger than' Blackpool. It is not a self portrait, yet my emotions have been fed through into the model as a sort of output.
