Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken while traveling the Interstate in South GA.. (in passenger seat of course...LOL) I shot this through my windshield.

Time

I was amazed at how the clouds formed after this storm. It was mid-day while we were on the way home from Orlanda, FL. (Last day of vacation).

Lighting

I remember how beautiful it looked with the Sun peaking out between the clouds. It was just an intriguing sight that had to be shared.

Equipment

This was shot on a Nikon D5100, Nikon DX 55-200 mm, no flash, elbow against door for support.

Inspiration

I couldn't resist those rays of sunshine shinning through the clouds.

Editing

I cropped out the powerlines and adjusted the contrast a little.

In my camera bag

The first thing I pack is my Nikon 50mm 1:1.8, Nikon 35mm 1.8, last but not least Tamron 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 Tele-macro (newest addition :-) ), extra batteries and SD cards.

Feedback

This was a spur of the moment. Just keep your eyes open for those perfect shots. Always have your camera with you!
