Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken on the Caspian Sea coast after the end of the beach season, where I often like to go for a walk.

Time

At the end of the day, after sunset, I noticed that when the beach season was over, the pavilion for rest by the sea was disassembled and only this fence was left, it seemed to me that the sea looked as if it had shielded itself from us.

Lighting

The clouds covered the whole sky and only a strip near the horizon burned with the weak colors of the sunset. Using a long exposure I took a picture during which the clouds were blurred.

Equipment

The picture was taken by Canon 6D with Canon 17-40mm L lens and B+W CPL filter. I used a tripod (brand Slik) to take a long exposure photo.

Inspiration

I like long exposure seascapes, they are laconic and expressive.

Editing

I edited the photo a bit to level the brightness of the sky

In my camera bag

I usually carry with me a camera Canon 6D with Canon 17-40mm L objective, about three spare batteries, remote control and a set for optics cleaning.
