War Memorial at Lyon and McFadden Halls on west campus of Cornell University taken after sunset.

Dedicated in 1932, the War Memorial, which connects Lyon Hall and McFadden Hall, commemorates the Cornell’s 264 casualties during WWI. The two towers adjacent to Lyon and McFadden Halls were originally dedicated to the Army and Navy, with each room inside the towers dedicated to a person or group of people. The cloister joining the two towers contains sixteen panels engraved with the names of Cornell students, alumni and faculty who died in World War I.
