The photo was taken in my hotel room during my vacation in Niagara Falls.Time
It was early November just after Halloween. I woke up by the golden light bean that through my hotel window around 7:30am. I took a look outside the window then I saw this glorious sun rising on top of the Niagara Falls. I rushed to take out my camera and tripod to catch this wonderful moment.Lighting
Since the window could not open on high rising hotel room, when shooting the picture through the window glass, we had to make sure there is no reflection from the window glass.Equipment
It was shot on a Canon Rebel XTi with a 18-55mm len. Using tripod but no flash.Inspiration
There are so may Niagara Falls pictures we have seen. I always want to capture one that from different angle and different time. The sun rising with golden light that reflected from cloud and water, that is the bonus.Editing
I did not do post - processing. In my camera bag
I used to carry a Canon XTi with 75-300 len with me when I started to learn the photography. I just upgrated my camera to Nicon D810 with 18-300 len so I can capture the moment from variant distance.Feedback
