It was shot in the early afternoon toward the sun in the late fall.

Canon 60D with an EF-S 18-135 STM lens. It was handheld with available light.

I was looking for silhouettes and these little girls were climbing in and around the "tube." So I just waited for one girl to be on her own. I was specifically doing silhouettes with this shot because I didn't want the

Editing

Yes. I pushed the contrast and converted to black and white in Lightroom.

In my camera bag

Besides my Canon 60D, I keep an 18-135 lens for walking around but my favorite is the 28mm, which gets me closer to the action and helps me get out of my shell.

Feedback

Don't be afraid to get close to your subjects and don't fear the high contrast light. It can make for something wonderful.
