Location
The photo was taken near my hometown Gornji Milanovac, which is located in Central Serbia.
Time
It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon in March. My family and I were enjoying natural artistry and elegance of landscapes in our neighborhood. The whole day was very unique and memorable. I honestly can't remember the awakening of spring so remarkable and exciting as it was that day.
Lighting
The lighting was all natural. The trees and their branches caused the unique distribution of light on the ground, and therefore created fine harmony between the two layers in the picture.
Equipment
This was shot on iPad mini 2, which I got as a present. I don't have any other cameras, but it's not that bad as it maybe sounds. I remember one ViewBug's user said in an interview that â€the camera doesn't make the photo, you doâ€Â. It was one of the most important things I've heard about photography.

Inspiration
I'm at the moment living in Belgrade, because my university is there. Sometimes, when I have time, I go to my hometown, where my family live. When we are together, we like to spend time in nature as much as possible. I have already said how special that day was. But there is something more. Belgrade is, like most of the big cities, a “concrete jungleâ€Â. There are some parks and rivers, but they don't have the natural spirit and look. So, it's always enormous pleasure to breathe the nature and to experience the connection you can make with it. I took the photo so that I can relive the moment when I need it, and to share that moment with others.
Editing
Yes, but not much. I added a little bit of contrast and increased the brightness. Also, I adjusted color saturation using vibrance and played with the Photoshop Levels tool to find the right contrast.
In my camera bag
As I mentioned before, I only pack my iPad and that's it. The great thing is that my “equipment†is not heavy, haha. When I'm with my friends and someone has a camera, I use it to make pictures.
Feedback
Feel the moment, don't bother much about technicalities. Try to “meet†the nature, try to listen to it, feel life in it. The thing is that in the picture you have to show the emotion you were experiencing! To share that sensation with other people in order to make them feel what you felt. Use post-processing only to achieve the impression.
