This picture was taken in the Yosemite National Park, one of my favorite places on earth and a paradise for photography lovers!Time
The picture was taken in the afternoon! It was a cold day at the park yet the Lighting was perfect! I remember walking out there trying to take a photograph of the half dome, and found this perfect spot with the reflection of the dome in the water!Lighting
The sun was reflecting on the plantation around half dome making the whole set look radiant!Equipment

I had a friend with me who knew the park well and was guiding me towards the best views! I am grateful to him for his help as it's a huge park. Ansel Adams photography of the park has been an inspiration for me! Some day I would like to be a photographer like him! His passion is reflected in his work!Editing

My advise for any photographer is to visit the Yosemite National park and go with a guide who knows the park well if you are trying to cover the park in less than a week. Be prepared with your camera and tripod as there's views all over the park and every one is spectacular.
