a nice summer evening of 2013 , around 7 PMLighting
taken in the summer of 2013, there was just enough light from the sunset from behind, with clear blue skies and calm waters of Lake MichiganEquipment
Nikon D7000, Tokina 11-16 mm lens, Handheld, No flashInspiration
wide-angle always fascinated me - a view that cannot be achieved by human vision. Even before taking this photo or buying a wideangle lens I have been to this very place many times. I had this pre-visualisation to place the log on the shore which connected to me well. I came again to the place with my brand new Tokina 11-16 lens and this was my very first serious shot at 11 mm. I just love the perspective at this angle.Editing
Very minimal PP done, to bring some details in the foreground and some color correction. In my camera bag

Having a pre-visualisation helps a lot before attempting to capture a shot, or even improvising the previs with what you have at a place often can get you an altogether different dimension to the composition photo.
