I took this photo at petcock mansion in Portland OR I have been there twice and love going there the mansion inside and out are really pretty it also has a flower garden too this pic that I took was the staircase inside petcock mansion and one of my favorite places inside the mansion especially the stained glass windows. this pic was taken with a Nikon digital camera and I zoomed in with the lens. I love doing close up pics.Time
the time of day I took this pic was about 3:00 in the afternoon and we had just gotten inside the mansion at the time no I did not use the tripod I just focused on what I wanted to take pic of including this one and snapped away.Lighting
the kind of lighting I used was just basic lighting the sun was shining through the stained glass window so I pointed the camera in that direction turned the flash off so the pic would have natural light in it and I put the camera on auto. it was a wreally nice day out that day as well nice and sunny so I really wanted to get pics most of the time it rains in OR so it's rare when you get sun therEquipment

I was enspired to take this photo because I like old houses and this was one of my favorite old Victorian house's in Portland and I wanted to have pics of it. to look and enjoy and share with family and friends.Editing

me when I try to capture stuff like this I useally go and shoot the pic from where I can get the most light but sometimes if the lighting is too bright I shoot the pic where there is less light so you can see the picture better and it does not come out too bright. I also take my pics from different angels so I can get the photo at different angels incaise I miss any emportant detail of the pic I do it this way so I get all the details. that is also one of the ways I took this picture that and I turned the flash off and put the camera mode on auto.
