I hiked up to Donut Falls in Big Cottonwood Canyon Utah and was really disappointed at first. You couldn't see any of the water fall because it had all frozen over and had been covered in a fresh layer of snow.

I decided to try and climb the somewhat frozen water fall. As I went up and over the last huge rock, there was a small cave entrance that you can;t see from the bottom of the falls.

I set up camp inside the cave and had some lunch and took some pictures. The cave entrance allowed the perfect amount of light in to create a nice depth, but still allowed for a long shutter speed.
