Behind The Lens

Location

This shot was taken in my backyard early in the morning.

Time

“ The early bird gets the worm” I woke up around 7:am for this photo. Early morning are always a great time to catch the birds having breakfast.

Lighting

I always try to photograph my subjects in the perfect light. I prefer morning or late evening light.

Equipment

This was shot with a Nikon d3100 and a 300mm lens.

Inspiration

The beautiful colors of the Cedar Waxwing inspired me to take this photo.

Editing

A little sharpening and saturation was all this photo needed.

In my camera bag

I always have my Nikon d7200 in my equipment bag along with a 300mm, 50mm and a 18-55mm lens.

Feedback

To capture a similar image make sure you have a fast enough shutter speed to freeze all motion and pay attention to the light.
