The photo was taken in an old french style house in Mérida Yucatán the house belong to a well known artist Malena Peon.Time
This images was the last one we take at the photoshoot, since I arrive to the house and enter to this room I saw this window but the light wasn't so good at that time, but its all about patience when your are working with natural light so I keep checkin this room for the whole shooting and in the sunset around 5:30pm there was a gorgeous light entering exactly through the window and of course there in the fancy couch was my shot!Lighting
Well the main light was a window light at the golden hour but I fill the legs with a LED light because I didn't wanna lose the details of the dress and those amazing legs of course!Equipment
I use a Canon 6D with a sigma art 35mm and a LED lightInspiration
It was a bridal makeup campaign but I fall in love with the dress as soon as I seen it for the first time and I said to my self "You have to make a great shot with the dress and those legs"Editing
I make the color correction in Lightroom, skin retouch on Photoshop, and then the final touches where with alien skin.In my camera bag
In my bag normally you can always find my 85mm and the sigma 35mm those are my first choice of lenses, of course you can also find a very good speaker so we never get bored on the shootings and a pack of chocolates!Feedback
Never lose hope in making a picture if you are working with natural light and have the time to wait pass to another spot and then come back to your first option the light is alway changing so you will always find different type of lighting.
