Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in the livingroom of my house.

Time

This was taken around 7 at night.

Lighting

I wanted sharp contrast in light so I actually turned off all the house lights and used hand-held white lights instead.

Equipment

I used a Sony Alpha-58 with a Sony 55mm lens. I had my camera on a tripod for both pictures. I also used photoshop to edit the two photos into one.

Inspiration

I took this picture because I really wanted to get the point across to people that having secrets is never a bad thing, but having too many can be a very stressful way to live life.

Editing

Yes, like I said before, I had to use photoshop to merge the pictures into one. I also used photoshop to increase the contrast of the picture.

In my camera bag

I normally carry my Sony 55mm lens, a Tamron macro lens, and my Sony Alpha-58.

Feedback

The lighting helps a great deal in setting the mood. If you know what you want people to get out of your photo, try to let the lighting reflect that message.
