Hi Steve, some nice colour saturation in this because there's twice as many green pixels in your camera than there are red or blue so green will show up more saturated, so you use that to your advantage! just a little more steadier and you can have something quite abstract.

Hi Cyd, Your camera is classed as a bridge cameras and are an excellent way to start for lots of reasons i.e. the focal length is immense, there very light weight, there not so intrusive i.e street photography, and a lot have full manual control over the exposure, so definitely a great way to start. If your just starting out I would say two things! the first is learn the equipment and keep shooting!

Camera shamra. It's your eye that makes the image. Not the camera. I've seen iPhone images that blew me away. I agree with my buddy above this. Learn the cameras settings push it and get creative. Have fun and remember if it makes you happy. It's a good image.
