It was just approaching dusk in late winter and we were walking along the beach hoping for a sunset (out of luck with that!). There were a group of plants growing on the sand dunes and their colours caught my eye - loved the glaucous bluey tinged with magenta. However, when I looked at my image at home it looked strangely like an eye - and possibly a dragon's eye at that 8-)
