Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on Lake Greenwood in South Carolina at sunset on November 20, 2008. This is about two miles from my home and one of my favorite places to catch the sunset.

Time

This was taken about quarter to six on November 20 of 2008. I just so happen to have my camera with me as I was crossing the lake to go home and just had to pull over and get the sun setting.

Lighting

No

Equipment

I am just a person that loves photography but not able to afford a DSLR camera This was taken with my Cannon PowerShot SX10 IS camera.

Inspiration

The beautiful sun setting across the lake. I truly love watching the sun set or rise it gives me a peace that can easy my troubled mind. If I am having a bad day I can just watch the sun setting to clear my soul.

Editing

No

In my camera bag

I now have a Cannon PowerShot SX30 IS. CI think it is a great camera for ease of use for beginers. I can manually focus or use auto focus.

Feedback

My advise to capturing sunsets is to always keep you camera with you and open your eyes to the world around you. Hold your camera steady or use a tripod and take photos that make you happy.
