Behind The Lens

Location

I captured the rice-leaf image @ my village, nearby my Tirtanajma Batik studio

Time

It was 7.00 in the morning, perfect time for me to capture my village abundant culture & heritage beauty

Lighting

On 5.00-8.00 in the morning is the golden moments of the villagers activities and it's natural lighting.

Equipment

I use Nikon D3200, 80-200 mm Nikkor ED lens, handheld.

Inspiration

Alter the morning pray (Shalat Subuh) at the mosque, I usually walk, run or ride my bike to keep my mind and body fit, of course I never leave my gears backpack away from my morning sport activities. Morning is mostly inspiring-golden moments, just do the sport things, bring along the gears, then you'll find something interesting. That's the way how I captured the waterdrops on the rice-leaves.

Editing

Yes, I always do post processing, to maximize my photographs. However I have to keep it NATURALLY, nothing too much. I use Photoshop Lightroom.

In my camera bag

I always bring my Nikon D3200, my standard 18-35 mm Nikkor and 80-200 mm Nikkor ED lenses, tripod and 1 m x 2 m white fabric for portable-natural-easy reflector inside my backpack.

Feedback

Just remember "Wal Asr" ("for the sake of time" , Holy Qur'an : 103, one of very beautiful letter from ALLAH The Almighty). We are on the long road of our life-path. During the journey, we could visit to some places, some actions, but we could not stop nor back. And the most amazing thing of photography is : we could CAPTURE/FREEZE part of the journey. Hopefully with our photography gears and skill, we only capture and share good things, good deeds, according to ALLAH's will. Then our photography become our provision/stocks for our life after live
