Location
Poland. At the Polish seaside (Baltic Sea), in a small tourist village called Dziwnowek.Time
.Lighting
The picture „Baltic Summer” was taken at the beginning of August, 2011. There are a lot of wooden breakwaters built there to protect the seaside from waves. One of the waterbreaks became a leitmotiv for this shot. To achieve the impression of balance and peace I found a symmetrical composition which leads the viewer deep into the picture. I used a wide-angle lens and a grey filter to prolong the time of exposure. It was increased tenfold and took 5 minutes.Equipment
