Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at the Riverfront Park where we live as well as some at the St. Louis Art Museum

Time

We had been out all day taking photos at various places and this was the last stop so I'd say late afternoon is when I took it.

Lighting

I just used natural lighting which I prefer doing when I can.

Equipment

It was over 10 years ago so the camera I had was a Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XSi. Not sure what lens I used but it was shot at 1/400 sec. F4, ISO 100, No flash just natural outside lighting and I handheld the camera

Inspiration

She is my stepdaughter and very pretty as you can see. We wanted to try and get some photos for her Senior Pictures so we went out for the day and tried all kinds of shots and backgrounds.

Editing

I don't usually do much post-processing. Just contrast, and general editing.

In my camera bag

At that time I just had a basic lens that came with it. Nowadays I have a 16-300mm and a wide angle lens. I also carry some filters.

Feedback

Practice and keep on trying till you like what you're getting.
