This place was dark. These were all 5 to 30 second exposures with my D800, which handles amazingly in low light.

Included in a Summer Series. Long Summer Days. Shot amidst a sky filled with smoke and haze from surrounding forest fires shot in a local cornfield.

Skylight Cave in Central Oregon

120 Film. Shot on my Hasselblad 500cm developed at home.

Surrounded by forest fires in Oregon, the Valley is filled with smoke. This haze and smog creates an interesting backdrop for portraits and landscapes
