This image was taken in Salisbury, Wiltshire at a place called Old Sarum which is a castle grounds where I go to take some sunset images.Time
This was taken in the golden hour, I think there was about 20mins of light left of the day.Lighting
All natural lighting.Equipment
I would normally use a tripod of course, but for this shot, I was walking up the hill to the normal spot where I set up and just thought 'this looks nice' and took a quick couple of shots handheld.Inspiration
I love taking sunset images and when I get the chance always try to get out for a bit of exercise and a picture or two.Editing
Yes, there is a bit of saturation boost, emphasising of the sun and adding a bit of clarity to the clouds.In my camera bag
My work horse lens is the Sigma 18-250 F3.5-6.3 DC OS as this is great for a range of shots, next is my Canon 50mm 1.8 which is my favourite for portraits and then I've got my Sigma 10-20mm F3.5 for wide angle stuff. I also carry 2 Canon 430 ex ii flash guns and wireless triggers, filters and such. My bag does get heavy when you're carrying it for a while, but I always like to be prepared for a doing a range of stuff.Feedback
Get out with your camera and give it a go, I would suggest using a tripod as this will allow you to recompose.
