It is not always about having the best camera as this was shot on my old Rebel Xti. Now I did happen to have a nice L lens with me in the camera back pack which definitely helped.

I was in Mission Viejo, Ca and I went over to check out a dog event that was happening in a park. I was doing some different sport shots when I saw across the park by the trees this beautiful hawk. I grabbed my back pack and took off running and got close enough to catch this intensity as he was obviously focused on me too. Sometimes an opportunity just pops up, be ready..
