Behind The Lens

Location

I have a small studio in a cabin in my garden. Its just perfect for small photo shoots

Time

Afternoon

Lighting

I used one continuous studio light to create the right amount of lighting I wanted for this image.

Equipment

I took this with my D610 24-70mm 2.8 lens

Inspiration

My friends daughter loves dressing up and she loves her ballet outfit. So I asked her if she would like a little photo shoot. She was AMAZING!

Editing

Just a little contrast tweak and that was all.

In my camera bag

As a wedding photographer, I have the following equipment in my bag: 2 x Nikon D810. 24-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8, 85mm 1.4, 50mm 1.4, 35mm 1.4 and 17-35 2.8

Feedback

It helps when the subject is comfortable with you. When shooting younger ones, give them a while to warm up. Talk to them or even play a game.
