A Night On The Lake

A boat floats on Lake Te Anau as dusk settles over the mountains. This was a stormy evening and I stood with my feet in the water while it was raining to grab a shot quickly before I got too soaked! Luckily it didn't rain too badly before I returned to the hostel. I don't think I'd have minded if it had, since the view was worth it.

I edited this photo using a new technique I learned yesterday. It was mostly done very quickly in Lightroom, with only minimal tidying done in Photoshop. This is going to completely transform how I edit images and will make it much easier and quicker to get them ready to share with you all! I think once I'm settled in New Zealand, I'll start working on some small bitesize Lightroom-Photoshop tutorials to share these skills I'm learning.
