Behind The Lens

Location
Valley on the way to Zero Point (Indo-China border) from Lachung, Sikkim, India.
Time
Photo was clicked on 10-Dec-2013 - 11:35 AM when we were returning after the visit to Zero Point (Indo-China border) to Lachung, Sikkim, India.
Lighting
It was all Natural light available on that morning of Dec-2013. Sky was bright enough to eliminate need of external lights.
Equipment
A Sony DSC-HX100V camera. Didn't use a tripod as it is not a long exposure shot.
Inspiration
It was a great morning drive to Zero point (Indo-China border) in Lachen, Sikkim, India. The view of the valley was awesome and so I requested the driver to stop for a break. I was awestruck by the scene before me in which the mud road and the meandering Teesta river seemed to merge and form the "Destined No Where" path that just led to infinity.
Editing
No, I didn't do any post-processing of this image.
In my camera bag
I always carry my Sony DSC-HX100V camera with extra battery if required. When I know that I will get a chance for a long exposure shot or some still shots, then I carry my tripod for stability. However, many times I have just used the ground, rocks, fence and other objects for long exposure shots.
Feedback
When we are travelling on a Valley it is always worth watching through window to get a clear view of the Valley be it a day or night. During day time, we do get view like the one captured here and in the night we can get Star gazing or long exposure shots or vehicle movement on the roads of valley.
