My photo was taken at my house, in my room, the girl in the photo is my girlfriend Tania
Time
This picture was taken a pretty late night in my house; I think we will have taken at least 300 shots... and I'm not a professional photographer!!.. but very perfectionist! After repeated and repeated shots I immediately understood what would be the best Taken January 12, 2015
Lighting
The light was created by me of course.. I used two flashes, a slightly front side to illuminate the face, while another of the left image cropping to give a touch of three-dimensionality to the whole scene.
Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D700 with 80 200 f 2.8 Nikkor. Without tripod.
Inspiration
During an advanced photography course I was held a contest and I have decided to participate with my image. Since the theme of the contest was "Music " I decided to interpret it in my own way and I asked my girlfriend what better way to represent the music, than to listen ?? And so I was born this photo, in my beautiful for sweetness and delicacy, but also for the transport that arouses me.. makes me really feel Music !
Editing
Usually I spend a good part of the post production of my photos.. I consider it as important as a good shot; and is also the way to give vent to my creativity and originality, trying not to confuse fiction from reality shooting. In this I tried to make a little surreal scene, working with curves I opened a lot of shadows, but at the same time I dropped the lights, which although soft; They bothered the vision. I also added a gradient map tending towards magenta, slightly.
In my camera bag
I always carry my nikon d700, a 18-35 f 3.5 - 4.5 nikkor and a Nikkor 80-200 f 2.8. Also a Samyang 14 mm f 2.8. The Manfrotto tripod, a series of filters Lee gnd. Bigstopper and the little stopper Lee. My backpack lowenpro great because compact and lightweight yet roomy.
Feedback
Nothing special, but if you put the right feeling will come out nice pictures like this, that to me is from a sentimental point of view that artistic and excite me much. And the fact that it has created a pleasant and satisfactory image with the help of a loved one, makes you appreciate even more the final result!
