In Belgium,in Meise botanical garden. The Botanic Garden Meise is located in the grounds of Bouchout Castle in the town of Meise, just north of Brussels in the province of Flemish BrabantTime
It was in winter 2014 end of November in the afternoon.Lighting
There was this natural lighting in a very freezing sunny winter day.Equipment
I was with a tripod,a canon 5D market II and a very good lens sigma,150mm 1:2,8 and the shoot was made with natural light.Inspiration
I knew I wanted to get the best from this lens and the botanical garden was a very nice place to start with macro. I was surprise by the amazing variety of flowers in this glasshouses and the quietness.There were not too many people.Editing
Yes absolutely I always spend a lot of time trying different ways to do post production with adobe photoshop and Nik collection siver effex pro 2 in this case most probably.In my camera bag

Macro lens is very interesting to practice in a botanical garden where so many varieties are available and it can be quite if you are there before everybody else. With your tripod on everybody way it can be a real pain if there are too many children and mother and babies obviously. Quietness is so important and trying different aperture is really fun.
