I love this photo. I made it into a wooden portrait using my scroll saw. I'd really like to share it with the photographer.

When it comes to photographing people, I prefer taking candid photos of them while at work, play and even while in conversation. Michael has such a great face to photograph, his face rugged from the elements. Michael was listening to his brother, owner of the ranch, about much needed repairs and he looked as if in deep thought, so I started snapping. He turned to me and I told him to ignore me, just pretend I'm not here and so he did. After the conversation ended, both he and his brother Vince looked at the photos off the camera and both said they loved this one the most and so I proceeded to process and upload it.Editing
Yes, Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 For this photo, I made 3 copies each with different light levels, contrast, shadows and highlight and merged them together, then converted to Black and White. In my camera bag
Cameras: At the time I took this photo with a Canon 5D Markii, I recently sold a Canon 60D I used and replaced it with a Canon 5DsR. Lenses: My standard lens in the EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM and is usually attached to my camera at all times. Other Lenses always packed in my case because you never know what lies ahead and may have the possibility for that perfect shot. Canon EF 100-400mm 1:4.5-5.6 L, Canon EF 70-300mm 1:4-5.6, and my Canon EF 28mm 1:1.8. I always keep my external flash and tripod handy.Feedback
Capture the soul. I'm a person who prefers candid shots, I hate posed. I prefer capturing people as they are, or as I call it their soul. Try going out in public places, local events, family gatherings and shoot while they are not looking.
