Location
This photo was taken at Sawgrass Everglades Park in Florida.Time
This was taken at in January at approximately 8 am in the morning. It was 65 degrees Fahrenheit and it was extremely calm.Lighting
It was all natural lighting. With the glass like water surface and not a cloud in the sky, the reflection off the water created an unusual glow that helped create the shot you are seeing now.Equipment
Sony A7. Hand Held with Manual Settings.Inspiration
We were riding at full sped in the boat hoping to chase a coot and catch it running before taking off. As it began to run for dear life, I captured the once in a lifetime shop of being directly behind it as it began the takeoff run before gaining flight. Pretty Cool Indeed!Editing
None. The shot was taken with an overexposed manual setting in the camera. Post-processing involved Unmasking and Contrasting. In my camera bag
Canon 60d and 7D and 70-200mm Canon Telephoto. But for today, I also brought my Sony A7 with 50-200mm because of its size and weight.Feedback
Always have your camera nearby. You'll never know when the once in a lifetime shot will happen.
