Behind The Lens

Location

Photo was taken at Roksøyfjord, Vesterålen, northern norway.

Time

It was late in the evening, in january i think, around noon.

Lighting

I love chasing the aurora. Love the colours and speed if it! At times, in many diff colours, and speed.

Equipment

Canon 6D fullframe, with the nikon nikkor af-s 14-24g ed lense. Remote shutter control, and a tripod.

Inspiration

The shape of the light, reflected in the pond just beside the mainstreet:-)

Editing

Little adjustment, like added a little more sharpnes, and took away some iso- noise. Not much...

In my camera bag

I have a Canon dslr 6D, lenses, surch as nikon 14-24 incl adaptor to fit my canon. Canon 70-200 f/4 usm. Sigma 50mm f/1.4. 430 ex flash. Velbond df50 tripod. Canon remote shutter control ..

Feedback

Warm clothes! Gloves! Train in Manual mode, and just try to shot, and fail until you got it... you simply have to try and fail until you got it! Use a tripod! You have to, because of long exposures over several seconds. Lenses as wide as possible, like 14-24 mm(14mm). Blender as low as 2.8/3.5. Iso 800-5000, dep on camerabrand and model. Try exptime.. you will fail, at the start, but you'll get it. Mail me if you need more tips:-)
