I am speechless. This is such a fantastic photo and deserves all of the awards you got for it.

Location
I took this photo at the Calgary zoo at around 3pm. The tiger was pacing her enclosure and then started growling and hissing at another tiger that was in a separate area. I got lucky with this photo because i got so excited that the tiger was actually doing something other then sleeping, that i started snapping pictures and didn't realize until after i took about 10 pictures that i left my lens cap on- oops!Time
I took this photo at the Calgary zoo at around 3pm. The tiger was pacing her enclosure and then started growling and hissing at another tiger that was in a separate area.Lighting
This photo was taken in natural light. I took the photo through the glass viewing area of the tigers enclosure because i didn't want any fence (wires) in the photo, i wanted it to look more wild. I had to hold my lens against the glass to make sure i didn't get any glare or reflection.Equipment
I used my Nikon D7100 to take this photo. I had just gotten the camera for Christmas and because i'm an amateur i didn't know any of the fancy settings so i had it set to 'auto. I didn't use any flash because i didn't want any reflection from the glass. F-stop f/5 Exposure time 1/250sec. ISO speed ISO-800 Lens Nikkor 55-300mm Focal length 180mmInspiration
I love wildlife and pet photography. I love being able to capture their mood/personality because of a certain facial expression or how their eyes look.Editing
I edited the colors and clarity in Adobe lightroom to help make the tigers stripes stand out a little. In my camera bag
I have my Nikon D7100 and two lens. I use my Nikkor 55-300mm for when i'm focusing on wildlife so that i can zoom and not have to get to close or i can catch certain facial features. I use my 18-55mm when i'm doing landscape or pet photography.Feedback
My advice is to make sure you have lots of patience. You can sit for hours waiting for that perfect moment. You can take 100s of photos and come home with only 2 that is worth framing. For wildlife photos i also try to focus on their eyes as they can tell you a lot about the animal. If possible get down on their level so you're not photographing down on them up looking up on them.
