This was taken in Kent ( uk) on a bird reserve that I use a lot.Time
Late morning before the sun gets to bright and blows out tge colours.Lighting
I rarely take wildlife after midday as strong light can ruin an imageEquipment
I used a Canon 7d mk 2 and a Canon 500 LIS lens. Cracking combined together. I used a mono pod to help with the heavy lens.Inspiration

I mainly lighten or a bit of cropping but I left this as it was taken.In my camera bag
All depends on what I am after to capture. You can weight yourself down with to must gear. I always carry spare memo cards and batteries. A dry soft cloth to wipe my gear down.Feedback
