The Spiralling dagger of time as seen through my eyes unravelling from my mind seemingly unstoppable reaching out with its impenetrable grip from which no one can escape.

Still with plenty to accomplish in life this work represents my fear of the rapid passing of time and the fact that I, as we all, can do nothing but submit to its never-ending power, its constant “Tic Toc Tic Toc” and watch as it passes by at ever increasing speeds.

The moments left to achieve our goals ebbing away with the tides of time.
The eye belongs to the artist (me) and the clock in the artists eye is a Hunter pocket watch that has belonged to his father since 1937 further signifying the passage of time.
