Location
The was taken in Bonaire Island, Dutch Caribbean. In the leeward coast is calm almost all the time of the year, especially at sunset.Time
It was taken at 18:00.Lighting
For this shot I used natural light with the help of an underwater strobe directed to the sand. Normally is better to avoid the sun into the camera, for this I've waited the right moment , when a cloud softened the strong sunlight.Equipment
Canon 7D body Tokina 10-17mm f3,5 Underwater Housing EasyDive Leo2 equipped with a 8" domeport. One Strobe Sea&sea Y110 alpha.Inspiration
Sometimes, especially when you spend a lot of time in the water, I realise that the point of view from the surface of the sea has an uncommon but at the same time intriguing prospective. So, after having in my mind this spectacular vision of bonding of elements, which leads me to produce a lot of overunder-surface shots. I dedicate to this a lot of time in my photographic work.Editing
Yes in Camera Raw. Blacks, shadow, highlights, whites and a bit of doge&burning. I want to describe what I've seen.In my camera bag

Is better to use a DSLR (with a fisheye lens) in a underwater housing with a dome port of at least 8". You have to immerge the lower part of the dome into the water. I do not suggest soft waterresistant bags-housing...the dome is the imporant part. Go in the water and shoot.
