This was taken during the Special Olympics in Bath. I was assigned to the ten pin bowling and was allowed one five minute shoot from the front of the bowlers looking backup the lanes.
This image was a composite of six separate images stitched together in Photoshop. The moto for the Special Olympics for 2013 is "One Big Smile" so I captured the moto the smile in the bowls coming down the lanes.
No flash, just a steady hand and timing the shots just right to catch the balls in the right position.
