An image from my series "The person that you'd take a bullet for is behind the trigger." An in-depth and personal exploration of the emotional states related to a relationship break up; an illustration of feelings resulting from the loss of something you previously had such a strong connection to.
I aim to tell a story of the experiences from both sides of a lost-corrupt relationship, and the overwhelming mixture of feelings you encounter, be that of anger, isolation, sadness, freedom or fear.

Wow....great picture. Just three days ago, in my home town, a middled age man shot and killed both his pregnant ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend. Then later they found him dead in his car. Very sad story. But as many people feel for the victims and their families...I immediately tried to step into the shoes of the shooter.

Excellent concept, it kind of looks like that movie the "Ring" when she steps out of the well at the end. You got that feeling of isolation and sadness. Fantastic capture with great creativity! Congrats!

This photograph was taken very late at night, therefore there was hardly any bright and interesting lighting available to light up myself in this self portrait. So I decided to take a long exposure, and then play around with my external flash. I got a friend to run in front of me and flash the light, and then run behind me and flash again. This created the eerie and elegant soft light on the white dress. The lighting in the sky was all natural and I was lucky to have such interesting looking clouds that night.Equipment

This image was a part of a series based on the research of Inkblot tests, vulnerability and the psychology of the mind, when it is in alone. The concept was how isolation and being alone can be an overwhelming feeling. Hence the last open space and dark overpowering clouds.Editing
The post-processing I did on this image was to mirror image it, to relate to the concept of inkblot tests. I also added contrast to the clouds to make them look darker and more overpowering.In my camera bag

Mirror imaging photographs of the sky can make powerful and interesting shapes. Also, long exposures and external flashes can create so many different effects and looks, so going out and testing everything you can think of is a great idea to try!
