Behind The Lens

Location

The Photo was taken in Mangalore beach, India during sunset in the Blue hour.

Time

The photo was clicked way back in December 2012 at 6:00 p.m, I was wandering around the beach & I was just watching the beautiful the sunset, suddenly the waves went through my legs & the star fish got under my feet, I asked my cousin to place it in front of the sun & just took a shot. This is one of the beautiful shots which I took accidently.

Lighting

This was just an accidental shot took during the Blue hour.

Equipment

This was shot with Canon 50D 18-55mm lens hand held

Inspiration

I did not plan for this shot, with the sun in the background & the shape of the star fish I just wanted to see how the shot would look like with a Blue sky & Orange Sun as background

Editing

I just used the basic photoshop settings to adjust the lighting & noise reduction

In my camera bag

My first Camera was Canon 50D, Later on I purchased the Full frame Canon 5D, usually I carry both of my cameras. I generally keep one basic lens 24-105mm & depending on the place where i'm travelling i decide upon what other lens i would require. I have a wide angle, telephoto, 50mm portrait & macro lens which i carry based on the need.

Feedback

I believe beautiful shots gets captured when you are not prepared or planned for the shot, I can just say that when ever you travel just carry your camera & start shooting, it's just your artistic mind & skill that turns a scene into a beautiful image
