Absolutely marvellous! How do you get the water so vivid and clear, what are you using if you don't mind me asking :) ?

I had to wade into the water in order to pick up enough light. Outside the large mouth of the cave, the light is too bright and contrasty.Equipment
Canon 5D MRK III, 16-35mm 2.8 "L" lens, Really Right Stuff tripod with BH55 ball head. No flash usedInspiration
I love the detail of these caverns, found throughout California. Locals come here in the summer to get some relief from the heat.Editing
Processed with Adobe Lightroom 4. Some basic shadows and highlights, as well as a little bit of selective color adjustment. In my camera bag
Canon 5D MRK III, Canon 7D, 70-200mm 2.8, 16-35mm 2.8, 50mm, 100mm, polarizers, intervalometer remote, few lens cleaning clothes, and a couple of neutral density grads.Feedback
To capture something similar you'll have to have a tripod. Reason being is the time it takes to record the exposure. In order to keep quality high my iso was low. The depth of field is not vast, yet it's not shallow either. With a low ISO an approx aperture of f/14, and a polarizer (to reduce glare & pick up more rocks underneath the water) the shutter speed was around 30 seconds. In summary, you can take a shot just like this with a DSLR, sturdy tripod, corded or remote shutter release, polarizer, wide angle lens, and of course not be worried about getting wet.
