Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at my home. I have a roof skylight showing the sky, on the second floor, where the sun creates perfect natural lighting to take superb pictures of all sorts.

Time

Around 2/3pm. in the afternoon.

Lighting

The light around that time creates perfect opportunity of depth or shadows, depending which way I turn.

Equipment

Just my dear camera and it's lens.

Inspiration

I love layers. Especially with people. This self portrait was inspired by my desire to express different sides of myself and to integrate them into the whole Me as a visual story. For some simple and understood as so and for some as complex as I come.

Editing

I added one layer of an aged wall, to show the experiences of my life, good or not so good. I used three different images of myself from different angles and tried to create the layering, so anyone may see one of me before the other. This would be the creativity of discovery by the eye of the beholder.

In my camera bag

Several lenses, camera/ lens cleaning supplies, tissues, a snack, mini 1st aid kit, a notebook + pen, my phone
