I do truly love this. It fits the theme "water worlds" as it shows these creatures which are otherworldly. Great capture! Dreamlike!

Location
I took this shot down in Houston at the Houston Aquarium. We were spending the day with my daughter who was in the process of joining the Coast Guard.Time
It was in the afternoon and very dark inside, I used my 70-200 mm at 100mm, F stop. 2.8, SS 1/80 post processing done in Nik Software.Lighting
See belowEquipment
Camera D3, Lens 70-200 Sigma, hand held and manual settings. shot in raw and processed in Nik Software which is my favorite to use. I brought out some detail and used dodge and burn to bring out lighting and the detail extractor.Inspiration
Jelly fish are amazing creatures. They are graceful, mysterious and mesmerizing to watch swimming.Editing
Yes Nik Software. I used the detail extractor, lighting and Pro coloring to bring out the natural colors and take out any weird color cast.In my camera bag
I usually carry my 70-200mm, 24-120mm, 50mm, 85mm and my 35mm. That is it, I also carry reflectors if doing photo shoots with people and someday would love to invest in portable lighting. I am artistic, so when I take photos I love to post process and put my feelings into the photo. Though a shot may come out of the camera wonderful, it may not be what I want it to say, so I love working with filters, and anything that will put my signature on my work.Feedback
Use your experience, do not be afraid to experiment with lens, flashes and post processing with any program you love. Be unique and do not be afraid to put your artistic twist on your work and make it your own!!
