Location
The photo was taken at Þórsmörk, at the end of the Laugavegur Hiking trail in Iceland.Time
Not really sure about that, but sometime in the afternoon. I remember I was having a short walk near Volcano Huts campsite when I came across that lonely road.Lighting
Iceland's sky and its dramatic clouds did all the job, the northen situation of the country provides a magical range of skies.Equipment
As far as I can remember, I just used my camera with a ND filter. At that moment I was carrying my tripod, but I'm not sure if I used it in this photo.Inspiration
The straightness of the road, the threatening clouds, the car's dust, the contrast between the plains and the mountains...Editing
Yes I did. I used some of Lightroom's presets to increase exposure and also enhanced the clouds and colors. And of course I had to get rid of some spots (after 7 days of trekking, the rain and heavy wind stained the lenses)In my camera bag
I don't have many equipment so I could take everything I have: my camera, two lenses, a tripod, and a polarizing and a ND filterFeedback
Rather than skills it's just a matter of luck, having the chance to come across that kind of landscape. I felt that landscape that practically composed itself.
